Re-Audit Default Response Option

Audit forms can be set up so that answer choices from specified questions can be propagated from a previous audit to a new audit, thus allowing auditors to see the answer choices that a specific question received on a previous audit. This option is available for audits conducted in Mobile Auditor.

This option alters the behavior of the re-audit functionality. When this option is disabled, re-audit allows you to specify which questions appear on subsequent audits. In contrast, when used in conjunction with the PROPAGATE EXISTING ANSWERS INTO TRADITIONAL REAUDITS audit form configuration option, this feature allows you to specify which answers from a previous audit are displayed. Note that with this option, all questions appear on a subsequent audit, but only the specified answers are displayed.

When this option is enabled, different options are available in the RE-AUDIT TYPE droplist in the audit form configuration:

• FULL/SELECT ANSWERS - When this option is selected, the RE-AUDIT droplist in the Question setup screen contains options for hiding or showing the answer on re-audits. By default, all answers are set to SHOW.
• NONE - When this option is selected, the RE-AUDIT droplist is removed from the Question setup screen, and no answers appear on a re-audit.

(Note that this function is available even when Dynamic Question functionality is enabled. While similar to a manual re-audit, the manual re-audit type is not available when the Dynamic Questions option is enabled. It is also available for use with Duplicate Categories.)

Once the required setup has been completed by your RizePoint representative, you can enable the necessary audit form configuration options and then set the re-audit type of each question on the audit form to be either shown or hidden on re-audits.

1. Log on as a user with permission to edit an audit form.
2. Go to Audit > Audit Setup > Audit Forms.
3. Select the audit form that you want to use.
4. From the audit form Setup screen, select CONFIGURATION.

   

5. Select FULL / SELECT ANSWERS from the RE-AUDIT TYPE droplist.

   

6. Locate and select the PROPAGATE EXISTING ANSWERS INTO TRADITIONAL REAUDITS option.

   

7. Click SAVE & RETURN.

Now that the necessary audit form configuration options have been enabled, you can set the re-audit type of each question on the form.

1. Navigate to each question, then click the EDIT pencil beside the question.

   

2. Select SHOW ANSWER or HIDE ANSWER from the Re-Audit droplist.

   

3. Click CONTINUE.
4. Click SAVE AND RETURN, and repeat for each question on the audit form.

To conduct a Re-Audit:

1. Start the Mobile Auditor application and update your files.
2. From the Mobile Auditor home screen, select OPEN EXISTING.
3. Select ARCHIVED from the Filter Type drop-down list.

   

4. Select the audit on which you want to perform a re-audit, then click or tap the RE-AUDIT button at the bottom of the screen. The audit window opens.

   NOTE: If the audit was conducted by another auditor, or it was conducted on a different auditing device, you will need to download the previous audit from the server. See Downloading Audit Results - Mobile Auditor PC or Mobile Auditor PPC.

Questions that have been designated to SHOW ANSWERS display the answer choice that was selected on the previous audit.
